Profile Information

Are you here to shop, or to gain exposure for your goods and/or services in the film and television industry?
I offer to you the most historically appropriate 16th to 20th century American redware pottery for your film. Not all redware is accurate for every region or period and I would make sure the best is in your film. Other services include pottery wheel instruction (guaranteed fast success) , studio instruction, ceramic consultation and as a background actor if you need a potter in your film shoot.
Please tell us what you would like to get from being a Member of OurFilmProps.com?
The Massts film industry is blossoming and I would like to help OurFilmProps.com be a recognized source for props and talent that help the film industry succeed. I also get frustrated when I witness inappropriate pottery in costly films. Please, I can help!
Tell us about your interests!
I have been a potter since 1979. I continually research historical American pottery. I have performed my pottery demonstration to over 250 venues since 1985. Otherwise, house restoration, gardening, hiking, antiquing.
If you have one, please provide us with information on your web-site and/or online store.
Our website, www.americanredware.com links you to our websites, www.piedpotterhamelin.com for redware; www.kulinafolkart.com for sgraffito slipware made by Garine Arakelian; www.piedpotter for information on my program and www.americanredware.com to learn about american redware.
About Me:
My wife and I are recognized by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as "Keepers of Tradition" for our redware pottery. Our selection is in the first selected group of 70 artisans, is likened to being a "National Treasure" status in Japan. Early American Life Magazine has recognized me over 15 times in their Directory of Traditional Artisans and their Christmas Artisan directory.
